Overview
Use the Media Box Photo Editor to scan, edit, crop and resize images to fit the Media Box photo window. Edit the image using Auto Contrast, Manual Contrast, Brightness, Adjust Red-Green-Blue, Rotate, Flip, Mirror, Sharpen, Soften, Crop, Auto-Size, Zoom, Copy, Paste.
Scanning
Select a scanner or digital camera driver from the list of drivers.
Press the scan button to start the scanner software, setting a resolution of 50 to 100 dpi works well for album covers. Once the picture has been scanned you can edit and apply effects.

Cropping
Using the mouse, you can define an area to be cropped, dragging from the bottom right corner produces an area proportional the Auto-Size setting. The defined area can be moved and stretched.

Sizing the image to fit Media Box
Select or enter the height and width (in pixels) for the final image. Auto-Size uses an algorithm which produces an extremely high quality image. The Media Box photo window will automatically adjust to fit the two preset sizes.
Save
The image can be saved as BMP or JPG. JPG images are compressed and so use less disk space but the image quality is reduced. Use BMP to retain a high quality image. To associate the image with an MP3 file, open the save window, select the MP3 file and press save. To associate the image with a directory, type the directory name and press save.
