The CD Reader
Once the CD has been loaded track information can be retrieved
from the free CDDB service.
This includes track titles, album, artist, year, and other
information.
The album cover image is requested from the Amazon Web Services.
If no album cover is found you can also request it from the
Microsoft CD database.
You can print a CD cover containing the track titles.
Select individual tracks or all tracks to be converted.

Now you need to select or create a folder for the converted files.
This can be done automatically using the Album and Artist retrieved
from the CDDB service or
it can be done manually.

Now you need to get (rip) the songs from the CD to your PC in the
select format (i.e. MP3)
There are several options
You can select how the file will be named and this can include the
track number, album title and artist.
The track title will always be included.
There are four filters that can be used before the files are
converted (note will increase the times it takes to rip the CD).
Normalise ensures all songs are of equal volume, although on
modern CD's this is already done.
Amplify if you have an old CD or a CD with poor volume.
You can add fade in at the start or fade out at the end.
Some albums have a lot of silence sometimes at the start and often
at the end, this can be removed (crop).

Once all tracked are ripped they will be
added to the conversion queue and automatically converted to the
selected format.
