To capture from the sound card using
Vista you need the Stereo Mix input.
The default setting for this is hidden and disabled.
Enable Stereo Mix for recording with Media Audio Capture and Audio
Editor From the Control Panel select Hardware and Sound / Manage
Audio Devices.
Place the mouse below the microphone device and right click.
Select - Show Disabled Devices. Right click on the Stereo Mix icon. Select - Enable Device
If Stereo Mix is not available, connect an external USB sound card
Sound Blaster is recommended.
