Capturing from other
players using Media Audio Capture
Media Audio Capture is able to capture individual files from
other players by sensing the silence at the end of the song.
When silence is detected a new recording is started.
First you need to select a recording source that will capture
from the sound card.
There are various input sources and different sound card use
different names so you may need to try each recording source until
you get a recording.
The most common names are 'Stereo Mix' or 'What You Hear'
To start recording from an external source do not load any songs to
the play list but leave it blank.
Start the other player and load songs to it.
Now from Media Audio Capture, press 'Record'.
Press play on the other player.
If recording does not begin lower the threshold level.

Files will be named using the current date and time e.g.
Track31_01_2008 17_22_59.mp3
You can rename these later using the names of the songs
recorded.
During recording you can add album info using the tag inputs at
the bottom of Media Audio Capture.
Recording from the Internet
To record from the internet use the same method. Press record
before logging on to a website.
You can edit internet recordings using Audio Editor.
