Audio Splitter / Joiner

Use Audio Splitter to create new audio files
from parts of larger audio files. Create clips, split long speeches or songs
from one file in to individual files. Join many files in to one large file.
Audio Splitter / Joiner is able to handle large files that are too big for the
included Editor program.
Remember that dealing with large files requires a lot of memory and loading
these files can take some time.
Creating Splits
Once a file is loaded there are two methods to create splits.
1/ Use the mouse to select an area on the graphic. Use the graphic handles (the
white boxes) to adjust the size and position of the selection.
You can zoom in and out to make it easier to select a point in the file.

2/ Select an area aurally by playing the file and selecting start and end points
as the file plays.

Storing splits ready for exporting as separate files.
Once you have selected an area of the file on the graphic, press
'Store Split' to memorise that split.

Adding information for the split.
Each split can have Title, Track Number, Album, Artist and Genre
added to the file when the splits are saved.
Make sure each split has a Title as this is used for the file name when saving.
Add this under the section titled 'Stored Splits'.
You can select splits. Select 'Show' to put the splits to the
graphic, the split can then be played.
Saving the Splits.
From File select 'Save Splits'.
Before saving you will select a folder for the files and the file
type (MP3, WMA or WAV).
Now sit back while the splits are saved. With large files this can
take some time.

'Join File', select a file and it will be added to the end of the current fie.
